Cedar grove has gone above and beyond for my cats and I have always felt reassured when asking for advice from the vets

Nothing has changed since my original review 7 years ago except I’ve grown to appreciate and value the fantastic team in Cedar Grove more. We rescued our second dog Dory shortly after my first review and she also had no stress or fear when going to Cedar Grove. In fact both her and our other dog would pull on the lead to get in the door to say hello. I was never made to feel silly for going with any small concern and little Dory had plenty of big and small problems through the years which the staff dealt with completely professionally, warmly, and with such a high level of confidence. While it’s painful to write, it’s also comforting to know that recently when I had to take Dory back in an emergency she wouldn’t have been scared or fretting that she was going to the vet, she probably would have been happy knowing these were the people who always took the best care of her. We didn’t know this emergent trip would be her last with her condition being much more severe and deteriorating much faster than anyone could anticipate or prevent. A mass in her spleen and liver was just too much for Dory and she wasn’t meant to stay with us. But I know she had the best possible care and every measure possible was taken to try and keep her here. 💜 I have every confidence and it’s a small comfort that since she was in the capable hands of Cedar Grove there really wasn’t a single thing that could have prevented the inevitable. I really could never say thank you enough to the whole team who took care of her through the years, and the emergency team who took care of her in her last minutes. I also really appreciate that they gave me, my wife, and our other dog as much time as we needed to spend with Dory after her passing as I think this was really important to help us rationalise the very worst shock we have ever had. A special thanks to Eamonn who dealt with a difficult and rapidly worsening situation with such kindness and compassion while still being professional and informative that he helped support me through it. He then checked in while we said goodbye and gently guided us through what to expect and do next. I really want to specifically call out my appreciation of the reception team who dealt with our worry and grief in such a calming professional manner too. I can’t even put into words how much it meant. I know some of them were especially fond of Dory and got to know her happy face, I’m sure it’s hard for them too. I look forward to remembering her with them when I’m back in the future. My original review from 7 years ago: Fantastic staff, always attentive and ready to answer any question. Great with my puppy who has no problem coming to visit.

This is a fantastic clinic. We moved to the area and had yet to register our cat at a vets when she became very unwell (unrelated). The clinic acted swiftly and thoroughly and saved her life remaining empathetic but clear, keeping us informed throughout. Their follow-up was thorough and we are now confident our cat is in good health and on the right medication regime which is being continually monitored. We are so grateful for Richard and the team and happy to see our cat doing so well. Thanks so much

I would like to thank Caitlin and the Team at Cedar Grove for helping Lulu one of my guinea pigs with a lump that burst that needed removal just over a month ago. The staff were professional and thoughtful and communicated options available clearly. I am extremely happy of the outcome with Lulu who has fully healed well with no issues. Thank You. Stephen Hamilton.

Could not recommend this place highly enough. We've been with them for years with our cats and have always found them very knowledgeable, caring and easy to get appointments. Recently our elderly cat had surgery to remove a tumour which was unfortunately unsuccessful and the staff here could not have done enough for us. So kind, so patient and kept us informed all the way through. Even took some little clippings of her fur and paw prints for us to keep and sent us a beautiful plant to keep in the garden. Not just 5 star service, 100 star ⭐

When you are looking for a vet some of the things you consider are availability; staff with a passion for animals and hopefully not too deer... Now i can't say that Cedar Grove isn't deer.. they are market related and yes, sometimes i hold my breath when i have to pay.. the reason for this is because Cedar Grove provides me with a range of lovely doctors and passionate nurses. I had to take my dearest Bibi to be put to rest, and the way Cedar Grove set everything up to ensure its a quiet hour, where the MOST compassionate, soft spoken, and patient staff were on duty and ready to support me through such a dark hour.. well it deeply moved me... They brought my walls down and somehow softened my heart. You want a Vet that hasn't forgotten to love animals... but with Cedar Grove, you feel loved yourself when you are going through the biggest moment of your life... To conclude: with Cedar Grove you get qualified, professional staff that know what they do, especially doctor John and Allison. They always try and fit your pet in when they are sick And you get a place that moves heaven and earth for you when it counts .. on your dearest pet's last day .. and for that i am willing to pay a premium. Please allow me to share some photos of Bibi for old time sake as a tribute to the Amazing doggy (practically human) she was.

Awesome service! Girls at reception always very welcoming to both my Newfie bears! Great work all round! John worked wonders on our golden retriever years ago after bursting 2 discs in her back. She’s still going at 13 years plus. I don’t usually leave reviews but definitely would recommend! First class!
